The GRID
Overview
The GRID is a two-way two-factor authentication system designed specifically for protecting online businesses from frauds resulted from identity theft scams such as phishing and pharming. Firstly, customers of online businesses will be equipped with a user-friendly browser toolbar known as "The GRID Authenticator" which helps non-technical users verify the websites they are visiting. The GRID Authenticator will perform a series of stringent website verification tests based on a patent-pending methodology which goes beyond the common white-list or blacklist URL filtering. Secondly, online businesses are now able to strengthen their user authentication processes with The GRID 2-Factor system which enables device-based user authentication. Due to the two-way authentication implementation, The GRID not vulnerable to the advanced man-in-the-middle attacks.
